A three-day
retreat for young adults 16 to 22 years old.
An
introduction to a life-long faith journey and a relationship
with Jesus Christ.
A faith-based
peer ministry.
An
introduction to the foundations of Christianity, the
unconditional love of Jesus Christ, and the meaning of
discipleship.

Search encourages Spiritual
Growth:
Prayer – We
openly pray with and for one another.
Talks
– Peer ministers present talks on faith, grace, prayer, and
other topics. They share their personal faith journey.
Experiences – We celebrate the sacraments. We live this program
in the Spirit of Agape. We love one another and others in our
lives the way Jesus has taught us. We laugh together, cry
together, work together, and play together - all in the name and
spirit of Jesus Christ.
Music – We
learn new songs and lift up our voices together to praise God.

Mission Statement
We, the Search
for Christian Maturity are faithful servants of Christ and are
dedicated to serving the young disciples of God. We openly share
our experiences and offer our friendship by examples of love,
honesty, and humility. We are sensitive to their feelings and
guide them to the healing love of Christ. We provide an
opportunity for the nurturing of spiritual growth and we help to
bring an understanding of Christ’s sacraments. We encourage
social growth through community prayer, music, games, and
discussions. We do this in a welcoming and safe environment.
This is our
Mission and with God’s grace, we shall succeed.
